This year, the Easter weekend falls at the end of March and just at the beginning of April between March 29th and April 1st.There is always a selection of Easter holiday activities in London. You can choose to paint hard boiled eggs, watch a movie with friends and family or go to a live theatre performance at any of the theatre halls around the city. These activities can be just for the kids to engage themselves in as well as for the adults to enjoy. Easter in London, is fun, adventurous and memorable. Traditionally, there are a number of activities that residents of London and visitors engage in to celebrate the holiday.
The Easter egg hunt is one of the major traditional activities that people do in London. It is a fun family activity that can involve every member of the family. The egg hunt is however a favourite for children because of the hunt and the rewards that they receive after the hunt. This Easter, there are a number of egg hunt both within the city and outside. The Lint’s egg hunt is one of the major city hunts that involve both adults and kids. There is also the egg hunt that takes place at the V&A Museum of Childhood, the cutty Sark and at the Kew Gardens on the 31st of March. One may also choose to take the children to one of the theatre productions at any theatres within the city. There is also a lot of grown up stuff to do during the Easter in London weekend which grownups can do. For example, they can enjoy their cocktails with chocolate at any of their favourite bars and restaurants within the city. They can also choose to watch The Passion of Jesus that will be performed at the Trafalgar square, and get the chance to browse and buy art at the Horniman Museum during the fair.
Easter is never quite complete without a basket full of chocolate. At any of these fun activities, especially the egg hunt, someone can win a basket full of chocolate including other fabulous prizes. It is also important to remember that as much as a family can have so much fun during the Easter weekend, it is also important to remember to take a little time and rest. Which is why, at least an afternoon at home with family could also be a great thing to do in London for Easter.
